The ESP32 LOLIN32 is a compact ESP32 board that has a 32-bit dual core microcontroller that runs at 240MHz. It has 4MB of flash storage, and can be programmed in a range of languages, including microPython, LUA, and Arduino. It can be powered via micro USB or lithium polymer batteries with a 500mA max charging current. A set of matching 13 pin headers(standard 0.1″ type) are included, that can be soldered to the board, and are useful for mounting on a breadboard.
There is also a lite version of this board, that we sell. For a comparison of these two boards, see this page.this page:
By default, the firmware that comes with this board accepts AT commands.
The development board features a USB-UART Bridge circuit which allows developers to connect the board to a computer’s USB port for flashing, debugging and power.
This board has two rows of standard 0.1”(2.54mm) header pads on both sides for easy access. The pin headers are 0.9″ apart, allowing it to be mounted on a breadboard or prototype board with a standard 0.1″ grid.
It can be powered via USB or via the battery connector. The battery connector is a standard 2.0mm PH type connector. VERY IMPORTANT! Ensure the polarity of the battery is correct before connecting it!
